Chinese New Year Parade & Festival

The City of Jacksonville celebrates the Chinese New Year each year with a parade and downtown festival in honor of the thousands of Chinese who worked the mines and railroads of the region. City-wide festivities and demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day.

These day camps are designed to meet both parent and child needs for fun, supervised,recreational activities during non-student days. Campers enjoy games in our Youth Activity Center, sports in our gymnasium, cool crafts, and our inflatable playground. Lunch is not provided, so please send a sack lunch with your camper each day.
